![]() I wouldn’t call them “advanced scripting”. > Also, no matter if you can produce good games with it, some software is bad, no matter the skill of the user. > ie, I’m sure you can make quite awesome games with Stencyl, but given the way it’s programmed, its performance will suck. I don’t know if the same applies to GameMaker. If distance\_to\_object(obj\_block) \ Anyway, as it was mentioned, EXE files sound bad. Gamemaker basically uses external commands to represent something a lot more complicated, it’s basically pre-compiled external commands that would look like something a lot more complicated in another programming language. So rather than using 20 lines of code to make an object face the mouse pointer, you could do it in 10 or less.Īs for Stencyl goes, it really is _that bad_, I found Stencyl a lot harder to start out with than it was with Gamemaker. ![]() You may be able to make some awesome games with stencyl, but I personally didn’t enjoy it, and haven’t seen any decent games made with it _yet_. > I was going to try a GameMaker game to see if its performance wasn’t horrible but the site wanted me to install something to be able to play them. > From what you said, it sounds just like Stencyl. It isn’t, Gamemaker has been around for something like 20 years, Stencyl is sort of like in the beginning still, it obviously has great potential but it isn’t as powerful as Gamemaker. > and haven’t seen any decent games made with it _yet_. I could make that pretty easily with Gamemaker.> *Originally posted by **(/forums/1/topics/241210?page=1#posts-5199480):*** Has a rating of 3.69 and over 100,000 plays. > My absolute favourite indie freeware game and probably my absolute favourite in general was made in gamemaker give a look to () and download an untitled story in the same website the developer also released the source code. To obtain Motorola software see the Sticky in the Motorola forum. The various other vendors often permit their dealers to sell the software online (i.e., Kenwood). Please use Google or some other search engine to find a dealer that sells the software. Typically each series or individual radio requires its own software package. Often the Kenwood software is less than $100 so don't be a cheapskate just purchase it.įor M/A Com/Harris/GE, etc: there are two software packages that program all current and past radios. One package is for conventional programming and the other for trunked programming. The trunked package is in upwards of $2,500. The conventional package is more reasonable though is still several hundred dollars. The benefit is you do not need multiple versions for each radio (unlike Motorola). Someone has had a Pace Side Top 1000 B in storage for 30 years or more and is considering giving it to me. Before that happens I have been trying to research the specifications to understand the radio and it's capabilities, before I lay my paws on it.įirst off, even though I have been scanning since the mid 1970's, I have never used anything like the Pace, or studied the bands it occupies. I'm just trying to get some more information to get a better grip on the problem(s) you are looking at.I have no interest at all in transmitting, and won't be utilizing that function. have you tried transmit in BOTH AM and SSB? and you could be getting carrier out (in AM). all of it could just be related to "dead audio" but in that case.your meter would likely still wiggle on RCV. "No Receive" AND "No Transmit" drive me towards making sure that the PLL/VFO are working and "locked". are you getting carrier but no modulation? Or is absolutely nothing coming out at all? just no audio?Īnd in the matter of "no transmit". Just from scanning this thread to this point. After what you have been through already, I am asking for clarification's sake.
